The MORE Scholarship

The MORE Scholarship For 30 years The MORE Foundation has been changing the lives of high school seniors in Carter County who desired to obtain a college education. In fact, since 1990 the foundation has awarded approximately $9 million in scholarships helping average income families, many who do not qualify for other assistance, the ability to send their student to college.

Not only does The MORE Foundation assist with sending these students to college their first year, the foundation continues to support recipients who meet the retention requirements through their four years of education.

The MORE Scholarship has specific qualifications which must be met by applicants. Selection of the scholarship recipients is made by a committee appointed by the Board of Trustees of The MORE Foundation. To review qualifications or access the online application, please follow the links below.
